UFOs as a new religion
How the era of the hippies affected the way in which UFOs became part of the public conciousness. In his talk, Kevin will explain how the subject came into being, and became part of his life, and how it replaced "normal" religion in his life.A personal perspective of UFO research in the halycon days of the late 1960s and the 1970s.
Kevin Goodman, along with Steve Dewey are considered by thier peers as the definative experts on the Warminster phenomenon. Kevin first visited the town in the late Autumn of 1976, and during his repeated visits there saw and experinced first hand, the "Warminster Thing" Despite overwhelming proof that there was something strange ocurring in and around the area, he still maintains that 90% of what was seen by people has a mundane explaination. He is the author of UFO Warminster - Cradle of contact" which chronicles his experiences and those of his friends.
